Recently I decided to challenge myself in taking part in an international sound design contest ran by the brilliant asoundeffect.com
The challenge was to create audio for the short vfx clip by only using (This is where the fun begins! ) both synthesized and recorded sounds – the recorded ones must be recorded at home.
The sounds I recorded were a toilet flush and a can of adhesive/aerosol spraying and popping the cap off. By processing these sounds with effects. stretching them to match the animation and aesthetic of the visual. The result is what follows in this behind the scenes video showing the Individual sonic elements:
